Corpse Pose (Savasana)


Lie down comfortably on your mat with your legs relaxed,feet flopping out to the sides, arms lying down beside your body with your palms up. Allow your shoulders to soften and melt into the floor, tuck your chin in,  so the back of your neck is long. Close your eyes.


Start by inhaling slowly and deeply into your belly, notice how your breath feels on the inhale as it fills your belly up with fresh energizing air, your ribs are expanding, your chest fills with positive energy. Slowly exhale, feeling the breath slowly releasing all of the negative energy out of your body. Repeat this for at least 5-10 times. Focus completely on your breath, on your Inhale, imagine all the healing energy coming in. And on your exhale letting go of whatever you want to let go of. Focus in on this moment and bring your awareness to your breath. Keep breathing this way, slowly, evenly and deeply.
